Clarifying Medically Necessary Loss
Sometimes, life brings heartbreaking medical emergencies. A pregnancy may end with a procedure labeled “abortion” in your hospital paperwork - even though you never chose to end a life. These terms can feel deeply confusing and painful.
Catholic teaching recognizes the difference between direct abortion and medical interventions when a baby has already passed or the mother’s life is in critical danger. These heartbreaking procedures, like a D&C or hysterectomy for sepsis or hemorrhage, are not sinful - they are tragic moments of loss, not choices to take life.
You are not alone. You are not to blame. And you are deeply loved.

My Heart & Approach
I do not support elective abortion. But I will never walk away from someone experiencing spiritual pain, grief, or confusion. If someone is struggling, I will meet them where they are - with love, truth, and support. I desire healing, dignity, and life for every soul.
Donations & Giving
All bereavement support services are offered free of charge, with great love and respect for the sacredness of life and loss.
If you can donate, your gift will help cover costs like:
Gas and transportation
Keepsake materials and memorial items
Meals and care packages for grieving families

Your donation allows me to pay it forward to others facing loss.
Any amount is a gift.

With Heartfelt Gratitude
With deep love and thanksgiving, I wish to honor Deacon Evan Michael LeDoux, devoted servant of God and faithful “church rat” of Three Hierarchs Byzantine Melkite Catholic Church. Your steadfast presence, wit, and wisdom have uplifted and supported this ministry in ways both seen and unseen.
As you draw near to the holy mystery of the priesthood, may the Lord who began this good work in you bring it to completion with grace upon grace. You have poured out your life in service to Christ and His Church, and it is a joy to witness your "yes" echoing the words of the Theotokos:
“Be it done unto me according to Thy word.”
Your prayers, encouragement, and friendship are cherished beyond words. May our Lord Jesus Christ, through the intercession of the Theotokos and all the saints, grant you many years of health, holiness, and humble service.
